Dr. Daniel Sprague, MD, PhD is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He leads the Sprague Lab, focused on discovering small molecules targeting diseases such as neglected tropical diseases, cancer, and neurotransmission disorders. His work involves elucidating signaling pathways like GPCRs, epigenetic mechanisms, and ion channels to develop translational therapies from bench to bedside.
