Daniel Shugar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth, Energy, and Environment and Director of the Environmental Science Program at the University of Calgary.

Research Expertise: Studies rapid geological changes in high-altitude and high-latitude environments, focusing on climate change impacts on glaciers and mountain landscapes. Uses remote sensing, field observations, and geospatial analysis.
