Amelia Gómez Villar

Amelia Gómez Villar is a Professor at the Universidad de León, affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters and the Department of Geography and Geology. Her research focuses on Physical Geography and Geomorphology, particularly glacial and periglacial processes in mountain environments.

She earned her PhD in 1996 from the Universidad de Zaragoza, with a thesis on geomorphological dynamics in mountain basins. Her work often involves the GEOPAT research group (Geomorphology, Landscape, and Territory).
