Daniel Ruiz Aguilera

Daniel Ruiz Aguilera is an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) within the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. He has served as faculty since 2006 and currently co-directs the Master's Degree in Teacher Training program, while teaching across Mathematics, Primary Education, and Teacher Training degrees with significant involvement in thesis supervision and teacher training initiatives in the Balearic Islands.

Complementing this, he actively publishes on innovation in Mathematics Education for preschool through secondary levels, emphasizing practical methodologies for the Balearic Islands educational system.

Professional Contributions: Ruiz Aguilera directed the 'University Expert in Mathematics of Primary Education' postgraduate course since 2016-2017 and participated in establishing the Regional Ministry of Education's Center for Scientific and Mathematical Learning (CentMat). His teaching spans five academic years (2020-21 to 2024-25) across 10 distinct courses including Mathematics Didactics, Statistics Techniques with Imprecise Information, and thesis supervision, with consistent involvement in the Master's in Teacher Training program.
