Dr. Daniel Rossetto is affiliated with the University of Adelaide's Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources within the Division of Research and Innovation. He holds expertise in global environmental and energy markets, international climate policy, and the geopolitical dimensions of climate change. His professional career spans over 25 years across six continents, with extensive experience in structuring financing for renewable energy projects, advising on carbon market strategies, and developing green finance solutions.
Previously, he served as Executive Director of Environmental Markets at J.P. Morgan Chase and contributed to the Enel Group's carbon strategy in Rome. He also played a key role in Australia's National Emissions Trading Taskforce (NETT) during 2000-2005. His research focuses on climate-themed financial instruments, border carbon mechanisms, and corporate sustainability strategies. He obtained his PhD from The University of Adelaide and regularly publishes on Bloomberg platforms and academic journals.
