Dr. Daniel O. Dahlstrom holds the John R. Silber Professorship of Philosophy at Boston University's College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on Metaphysics, Phenomenology, Aesthetics, and Ethics, with a deep engagement in German philosophical traditions from Kant to Heidegger. He has held visiting roles at institutions like Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and Tübingen, and led international reviews of Israeli university philosophy departments. Dahlstrom’s academic leadership includes presidencies at the Metaphysical Society of America and the American Catholic Philosophical Association, alongside editorships of key philosophical journals.
