Daniel Nevo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at Tel Aviv University's Faculty of Exact Sciences. During the 2025-2026 academic year, he will serve as a Visiting Associate Professor at the MIT Institute for Data, Systems and Society (IDSS) and as an Associate at Harvard University's Department of Statistics.
His educational background includes:
- PhD in Statistics (2016) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, supervised by Ya'acov Ritov
- 3-year postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology
Nevo's research focuses on developing statistical methods with emphasis on causal inference and survival analysis in biomedical settings. His work spans multiple domains through collaborations with clinicians, epidemiologists, economists, and computer scientists, often aiming to determine causal effects from complex datasets.
