Associate Professor Daniel Malone is a Course Director and Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University, specializing in pharmacy education and mental health roles. His research focuses on assessment methodologies, case-based learning, and simulation-based education. He leads projects like the Global COIL Expansion initiative and has pioneered OSCE case-building software (MyOSCE™). Malone holds roles on the Australian Pharmacy Council’s Accreditation Assessment Team and Examinations Committee, and serves as Pharmacist in Charge at Newton’s Pharmacy.
His teaching expertise includes pharmacist roles in mental health and substance use disorders, with a commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals. Notable awards include the AACP Innovation in Teaching Award (2022) and a Monash University teaching grant (2019).
