Daniel Madigan is a Professor of Sport and Health Psychology at York St John University, serving as Research Lead for the School of Science, Technology and Health. With a PhD from the University of Kent, his work investigates burnout across sports, education, and healthcare, including its predictors, consequences, and prevention strategies. He also explores perfectionism in achievement contexts and has secured funding from organizations like the World Anti-Doping Agency and Swedish Research Council.
