Daniel J. Marshall

Dr. Daniel J. Marshall is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the Department of Sociology, Manchester Metropolitan University, and Joint Programme Lead for the MA Applied Criminology. With over 20 years in criminal justice, he has held roles as a Police Officer, Research Analyst at the UK Ministry of Justice, and educator internationally. He chairs Children’s Voices in Action and advises organizations like the African Institute for Crime, Policy and Governance Research.

Teaching includes MA Applied Criminology modules on youth justice and creative research methods, alongside undergraduate criminology courses. He supervises dissertations and mentors startups in justice, education, and digital technology.
