Dr. Patrick Williams is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, based in the Department of Sociology within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. His work focuses on racial disparities within the Criminal Justice System, particularly the over-policing of Black communities and the impact of gang labeling. He has conducted impactful research for organizations like Stopwatch and contributed to policy evaluations for probation services.
