Ruwan Uduwerage-Perera

Ruwan Uduwerage-Perera is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Policing, Criminology & Justice at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, University of East London. He holds an MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice and an MA in Holocaust Studies. As a pracademic, he bridges academic research with policing practice, focusing on community cohesion, equality, and diversity. His roles include Co-Director of the International Centre for Policing Innovation Enterprise and Learning (PIEL Centre) and visiting academic at Rashtriya Raksha University, India.
