Daniel Devoy is a Visiting Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law (2024-2025), teaching Administrative Law, Evidence, and Civil Procedure. He previously served as Associate Professor of Law and founding Director of the Veterans' Legal Advocacy Clinic at Golden Gate University School of Law. He also acts as a Judge Pro Tem in San Mateo County Superior Court.

His research focuses on veterans' civil rights, legal advocacy, and judicial practices. Notable work includes analyses of veterans' treatment courts and systemic challenges in veterans' legal services. He has contributed to interdisciplinary discussions on policy innovations and case studies in veterans' care.
Recipient of the 2024 Fulbright Specialist award. His prior roles include leadership in legal clinics and judicial appointments, reflecting his commitment to access to justice and systemic reform.
