Daniel Coutu

Daniel Coutu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine. He holds a Research Chair in Regenerative Orthopedic Surgery at The Ottawa Hospital and is a Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. His research focuses on aging-related musculoskeletal disorders, cellular degeneration mechanisms, and immune system interactions in orthopedic contexts.

Key research areas include arthritis/osteoarthritis, bone diseases, connective tissue biology, and the genetics of aging.
