Daniel Cooper

Daniel Cooper serves as a Lecturer in Electric Guitar and Music Theory at the Community Music School of Roberts Wesleyan University. With over a decade of teaching experience, he instructs students at Roberts Wesleyan's Community Music School and previously taught at Rochester Academy of Music and Art, including remote instruction via Skype for Rochester-based students while residing in Los Angeles.

• MM in Music Composition and Theory, Stephen F. Austin State University

Cooper specializes in video game and film music composition, with additional expertise in chamber music and large ensemble works. His guitar pedagogy emphasizes musicality and technical proficiency across diverse styles for all skill levels, informed by studies under virtuoso Nili Brosh and Dr. Timothy Shannon. Professional compositions include work on the Steam-released game Space Smack! and his thesis project Escape Beneath.

An active performer, Cooper collaborates with ensembles including ConArtist, Powerslave, Best Ever Productions, Vanessa Bejine, Speirs, RnB Classics Live, The Father’s House Church, Mosaic Church, and Pino Gioia, maintaining extensive studio and stage experience across multiple genres.
