Daniel Choi

Dr. Daniel Choi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). He serves as Director and Principal Investigator of the Teacher Pathway Partnership, a multi-level program funded by the California Employment Development Department (EDD), collaborating with community colleges, community-based organizations, and state agencies. Previously, he worked as a Senior Research Associate at WestEd’s Evaluation Research division and held teaching roles in K-12 and higher education.

His research focuses on language and educational policies, distribution of teacher quality, and GIS applications to analyze policy impacts on underserved students. Dr. Choi also serves on the school board of Global Education Academy (GEA), a top-ranked K-5 charter school in south Los Angeles under LAUSD’s charter.
