Dr. Linda Rose is a lecturer and coordinator in the Department of Educational Leadership at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). She also serves as a part-time lecturer at California State University, Long Beach, and holds board roles at Children’s Hospital, Orange County (CHOC), the West Los Angeles College Foundation, and others. Formerly, she served as President of Santa Ana College (SAC) from 2016 to 2020, overseeing educational policy, budget management, and community partnerships. She began her career as an English instructor at Cerritos College, advancing through roles including department chair, dean, and vice president before becoming a college president.

Research & Leadership: Dr. Rose focuses on enhancing student success in community colleges, particularly for underrepresented groups. She pioneered initiatives like the Guided Pathways program at SAC and collaborated on the first approved bachelor’s degree at a California community college. Her work emphasizes curriculum development, partnerships with businesses and K-12 institutions, and fund development.
Awards & Recognition:
- Recipient of prestigious teaching and leadership awards, including recognition from national organizations like the National Hispanic Business Women Association and the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations.
Advising & Governance: Led SAC’s academic affairs division and oversaw major institutional reforms. Her governance roles include service on the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Development Board, focusing on economic development and youth initiatives.
