Daniel Brown

Dr. Daniel Brown is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Psychology and Wellbeing, affiliated with the Centre for Health Research. He holds a BPsych (Hons) from Griffith University (2011) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Griffith University (2020). His research focuses on health behavior change, habit formation, and clinical psychology applications in public health contexts. Recent work explores lay representations of habit, trauma-informed care in healthcare, and policy impacts on environmental behaviors. He contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives, including the SYNERGY expert meeting on habit research and the 2024 Gender Affirming Surgery Forum.
