Daniel Arendt

Dr. Daniel Arendt is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences at the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati. He serves as a pain stewardship clinical pharmacy specialist at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, leading system-wide initiatives to optimize pain management and reduce opioid-related adverse events. Additionally, he chairs the pain stewardship committee for UC Health and directs the legislative affairs division of The Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists, advocating for harm reduction.

His recent peer-reviewed publications highlight trends in opioid-prescribing guidelines, harm reduction technology, and equity in drug policy. He also explores the intersection of pharmacy practice with social justice and systemic reforms.
