Dani ReStack

Dani ReStack is Associate Professor in Ohio State University's Department of Art, working across drawing, installation, and single-channel video. Education includes MFA from Bard College and University of Illinois Chicago. Research explores materiality and embodied practices through 'protective wrath' drawing methodologies.

Exhibitions include Whitney Biennial, Wexner Center for the Arts, and Camden Art Centre. Collaborative projects with Sheilah ReStack investigate queer kinship and material transformations, screened internationally at Rotterdam Film Festival and MoMA.

Residencies include Western Front, Cove Park Scotland, and Headlands Center for the Arts. Collections include MoMA, Video Data Bank, and Light Work.
