معرفی
Associate Professor Dane Lamb is a faculty member in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at RMIT University's School of Engineering. His research focuses on environmental remediation, geochemistry, and sustainable technologies for contaminated soils and mine sites. He has held academic positions since 2021, including Senior Lecturer (2021-2024) and currently serves as Associate Professor. His work integrates field surveys, laboratory experiments, and computational modeling to address challenges in mine rehabilitation, heavy metal sequestration, and bioremediation.
- Research Projects:
- Electron flow dynamics in mine tailings
- Surfactant-enhanced soil remediation
- Abandoned mine risk assessment via portable XRF and GIS
- Biochar applications for arsenic removal
His articles emphasize interdisciplinary approaches to environmental challenges, with contributions to understanding mineral transformations, contaminant behavior, and sustainable remediation strategies. He is open to supervising PhD/Masters students in environmental engineering and geochemistry. Collaborations include industry partnerships and international case studies.
