Suzie Reichman

Professor Suzie Reichman is an Honorary Professor at the School of Science, RMIT University (Australia). Her research focuses on environmental science, soil remediation, and pollution mitigation. She specializes in phytoremediation, heavy metal contamination, and the biogeochemical processes affecting soil health. Her work addresses urban pollution impacts, including vehicular emissions' effects on roadside soils and microbial communities. She also investigates arsenic and lead toxicity in agricultural settings and develops sustainable remediation techniques using biochars and fluorescent nanohybrids.

Teaching interests include land contamination management, mine-site rehabilitation, and ecotoxicology. Her interdisciplinary approach spans environmental engineering, plant biology, and analytical chemistry.
