Dr. Dandan Xia is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Utrecht University School of Economics. Her research focuses on innovation strategy, the economics of innovation, and international business, with an emphasis on how innovation policy shapes firm performance and strategic decisions in global markets.
- Education: PhD from IESE Business School; Master’s from Cambridge University Judge Business School.
Xia specializes in econometrics and quantitative research methods, contributing to understanding innovation dynamics and international business strategies. Her recent work examines product market rivalry through innovation and patent disclosures in China. She teaches in the International Economics and Business program, fostering collaborative and inclusive academic practices.
