Dandan Liu is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Kent State University. She specializes in applied macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic forecasting. Her research focuses on monetary policy analysis, time series econometrics, and the impact of economic shocks on national economies. Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University (2005), an MA in Finance from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (2000), and a BA in International Finance from the same institution (1997).

Her work bridges theoretical econometric frameworks with practical policy applications, particularly in understanding how central bank decisions influence financial markets and economic stability.
