Danae Wirth

Danae Wirth serves as Assistant Professor of Education in the Education Department at Goshen College, bringing extensive experience from Elkhart County school districts since 1995, including roles as District Science Coordinator and District STEM Coordinator.

Her academic credentials include:

• BA from Goshen College
• MSEd from Purdue University
• MA from Miami University of Ohio
• Forensic coursework from St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer

She holds Indiana teaching licenses for K-12 Life Science, K-12 Reading, K-12 ESL, K-6 STEM, and K-8 general education.

Her research centers on STEM education frameworks, state and national educational standards implementation, science curriculum design, and teacher preparation methodologies. She actively contributes to the field through memberships in the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation, National Science Teaching Association (as former District X Director), and The Hoosier Association of Science Teachers, Inc. (as Past President).

Dr. Wirth serves on the Board of Directors for the Goshen Historical Society and E3 Robotics, reflecting her community engagement beyond academia.
