Dana Irons is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, University of West London. She trained as a nurse at the University of Virginia, USA, and holds a Master's degree in Nursing (2008) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also served as a teaching fellow. Certified as an Advanced Practice Family Nurse Practitioner, she has extensive clinical experience in paediatric intensive care and primary care settings, including roles at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the University Student Health Center. At UWL, she serves as Course Leader for the April 24 Cohort of BNursing students and teaches across multiple programs.
