Dr. Catherine Lynch is an Associate Professor and Course Leader for the MSc Advancing Professional Practice at the University of West London's College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare. She completed her doctoral thesis in 2021, examining the impact of clinical research placements on nursing students' ability to integrate research into practice. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Lynch has led healthcare education programs since 2009 and focuses on empowering practitioners through soft skills development like emotional intelligence. She actively contributes to research governance as Deputy Chair of the CNMH Ethics Committee and co-founder of the CNMH Early Career Researchers Network.
