Dan Y. Han

Dr. Dan Y. Han is a Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, serving as Director of the Division of Neuropsychology at UK HealthCare. He holds affiliations with the SCOBIRC Faculty Associates and Markey Cancer Center. His leadership roles include chairing the Medical & Scientific Advisory Board for the Association of the U.S. Army – McMillan Chapter and serving on the Kentucky Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Board of Directors. Dr. Han’s clinical work spans neurocognitive diagnostics across 24 hospital services and 63 regional hospitals.

• Education: PsyD (Doctor of Psychology), CELM certifications, and multiple fellowship recognitions.

His research focuses on brain-behavior relationships, behavioral economics, and program development, with specialties in acquired brain injury, AI/LLMs in neuromodulation, global health sustainability, neurogastronomy, and neurotoxicology. His work has been featured in Newsweek, National Geographic, CNN, and international media across 17 countries.
