Dan Satterwhite is a Professor of Trombone at Lynn University's Conservatory of Music, where he has taught since 2009 (previously as Artist Faculty from 2005-2009). He maintains an active career as both educator and performer, serving in multiple academic positions and professional orchestras.

As an active performer, Professor Satterwhite serves as Bass Trombonist of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and Principal Bass Trombone of the Miami City Ballet Orchestra.
