Dan Flood is a Lecturer in Cloud Computing at CU Coventry (Full-Time) and a part-time PhD Student at the Centre for Data Science. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and holds an MA in Digital Media and Culture from the University of Warwick (2019), a BSc in Information Technology from Coventry University (2015), and is pursuing a Doctorate in Data Science and Higher Education (2021–2026). His research focuses on leveraging machine learning to enhance student engagement in programming education through analysis of learning analytics platforms like Codio. He also leads AWS-integrated curriculum development.
