Dami Olajide

Dami Olajide is a Research Fellow at the Nursing Midwifery and Health Department of Northumbria University. His expertise lies in health economics and econometrics, focusing on microeconometric models for health/social care financing, workforce analysis, and policy evaluation. He holds a PhD in Economics from Monash University (2005).

Research interests include cost-effectiveness analysis, break-even modeling, and social return on investment in healthcare. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to reducing inequalities and promoting good health. He serves on the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit Programme’s Regional Advisory Committee in West Midlands.

Key research areas involve analyzing health behaviors, population health experiments, and large dataset evaluations. His recent publications address old-age pension impacts in Nigeria and multi-risk health behaviors in Scotland.
