Damaris Lehmann is a Research Fellow at the University of Siegen, currently affiliated with the Collaborative Research Center "Media of Cooperation" in subproject A04. She holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Siegen and a Bachelor's in Social Sciences, Art History, and History from the same institution. Her research focuses on sociological theory, critical approaches to social analysis, and the study of public infrastructure systems. She has been involved in teaching at the University of Kassel and has held research positions both at Kassel and Siegen.

She engages with critical theory traditions, including Marxian concepts like alienation, and applies them to contemporary sociological inquiries.
