Dale Orris serves as an Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, and Lycoming College. He holds a Master of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts from Susquehanna University. His expertise spans music education, jazz performance, and classical trumpet performance.
As a performer, Mr. Orris is Principal Trumpet of the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and a member of ensembles such as the Commonwealth Brass Quintet and the Penn Central Wind Band. He has performed with renowned artists like Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, and The Temptations, and leads jazz groups including the Buzz Jones Big Band and Harrisburg Jazz Collective.
Prior to his adjunct roles, he taught instrumental music in the Lewisburg Area School District. He remains active as an adjudicator and clinician,曾担任国际爵士教育协会（IAJE）宾夕法尼亚州主席.
