Michael Ozlanski is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Department Head of the Department of Accounting at Susquehanna University’s Sigmund Weis School of Business (SWSB). He holds the Allen C. Tressler Professorship in Accounting. His research focuses on auditing practices, pedagogical innovations in accounting education, and the impact of technology on the profession. Ozlanski teaches courses in financial accounting, auditing, and study-abroad programs, including a Semester in London program. He advises incoming students and has received awards for teaching, research, and service from SWSB and the American Institute of CPAs.
Education includes a PhD and MAS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a BS from Susquehanna University. Professional affiliations include the American Accounting Association, American Institute of CPAs, and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Snyder County Libraries, Inc., and contributes to media outlets like WalletHub on financial topics.
