Dale A. Johnston, PhD, is a Professor of Humanities at Antioch University Los Angeles and President Emeritus with over 45 years of academic experience. He has taught in philosophy, religion, and English departments and held significant administrative roles, including President and Provost at institutions across the western U.S.

Dale is currently writing a book titled American Visions: Nineteenth-Century Utopian Communities, continuing his exploration of historical social experiments.
