Dagan Segal is an Instructor in the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Systems Biology. She holds a PhD from Weizmann University, Israel, and currently conducts research in Dr. Gaudenz Danuser’s lab, focusing on cancer cell plasticity in Ewing Sarcoma using in vitro and zebrafish models. Her research investigates cellular responses to microenvironmental cues and the role of Caveolin-1 in cancer adaptation, supported by an EMBO Long-Term Research Fellowship.
