DANIEL KNIFFIN

Daniel Kniffin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University, where he has served since 1989. He holds an M.S. in Health Education from the University of Texas (1987) and a B.S. in Physical Education and Health from the University of Texas (1985). His roles include Instructional Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer in Health & Kinesiology, alongside his ongoing tenure as Rehabilitation Coordinator for Texas A&M University’s Athletic Department since 1988.

Kniffin’s research and teaching focus on athletic injuries, functional anatomy for coaches, and safety protocols in sports. He received the Teacher of the Year Award in Kinesiology (2017).
