D'Shaun A. Booker

D'Shaun A. Booker serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Theatre & Dance within the College of Arts & Humanities at California State University, Dominguez Hills. With twenty years of professional teaching experience, she instructs courses in Acting, Speech, and Theatre Arts.

Her educational background includes an MA in Fine Arts from California State University Los Angeles and a BFA in Theatre Education from Howard University. This strong academic foundation supports her comprehensive approach to theatre education.

Ms. Booker's professional expertise spans multiple dimensions of theatrical arts and community engagement. Her research interests focus on practical theatre applications including performance techniques, cultural sensitivity in artistic expression, conflict resolution through drama, and community-based theatrical productions.
