Cynthia Whitchurch

Professor Cynthia Whitchurch is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where she leads a research team in the ithree Institute. She is also a Research Fellow at the Quadram Institute in the UK. Her expertise spans microbial imaging and bacterial lifestyles, with a focus on infection and antibiotic resistance. She established the Microbial Imaging Facility at UTS, renowned for advanced microscopy techniques like super-resolution microscopy.
