Cynthia Lindstrom, Ed.D. is a Professor of Computer Science at Lakeland University, affiliated with the Academic Affairs department. With over 20 years of experience in corporate, government, and educational sectors, she joined Lakeland in 2009 as an Assistant Professor. She redesigned the computer science major in 2012 and spearheaded the establishment of a dedicated computer science classroom and lab.
Her professional background includes roles as a business systems analyst at The Manitowoc Company (Cranes Division) and systems analyst at Humana. Prior to her full-time role, she served as an adjunct instructor at Lakeland College.
Lindstrom holds a Doctorate of Education in Computing and Information Technology from Nova Southeastern University, a Master's in Administration (Systems Analysis) from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration/Management Information Systems from Michigan Technological University.
Her expertise bridges academic leadership, systems analysis, and computer science education, with a focus on curriculum development and technological infrastructure.
