Cynthia Jean Browne is a Research Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG), Berlin, within Department II 'Knowledge Systems and Collective Life,' where she contributes to the Working Group 'Environmental Knowledge in Times of Crisis.'
