Cynthia Dols Finn is an Associate Professor at St. Catherine University, affiliated with the College for Adults. She holds roles in both the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN CFA) program and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Her academic journey includes completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at St. Catherine University, where she has been on the nursing faculty since Fall 1999.
Dr. Finn’s education includes degrees such as DNP, MN, PHN, and certifications like AHN-BC (Advanced Holistic Nurse) and CHTP/A. Her research and professional focus centers on holistic nursing, unitary human caring science, and fostering healthy learning and workplace environments through safe interpersonal behaviors. She actively contributes to curriculum development, particularly in integrative and culturally responsive healthcare education.
She is a founding member of the Behavior at Work Collaborative, dedicated to improving workplace culture, and serves on the Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association (MinnHNA) Leadership Council as their liaison to the American Holistic Nurses Association. Her efforts emphasize advancing holistic nursing practices and promoting compassionate care in healthcare settings.
