Beth Meighan-Palanivel

Dr. Beth Meighan-Palanivel is an Associate Professor in the Nursing - BSN program at St. Catherine University. She holds a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice), MA in Holistic Health Studies, and BSN, with certifications as a Holistic Nurse (HNB-BC), Nurse Coach (NC-BC), and Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner (CCAP).

Her expertise integrates holistic modalities including aromatherapy, Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, and Reiki within nursing practice. She researches complementary therapies for patient care and nursing education innovation.

Awarded the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty in 2020, she serves as Advising Liaison for the College for Women BSN program, developing retention strategies for pre-licensure students. She mentors faculty advisors and collaborates with university support services.

Dr. Meighan-Palanivel maintains active leadership in holistic nursing associations, having served on the Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association board for seven years.
