Cynthia Armijo is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Dayton School of Law. She is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience in criminal defense and prosecution, having litigated hundreds of cases ranging from traffic violations to death penalty defenses. She also teaches Trial Practice as an adjunct at the University of Dayton.

Her research interests focus on criminal law, criminal procedure, and trial advocacy, with a particular emphasis on evidence handling and legal ethics. Her work on Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases was published in the Criminal Law Practitioner journal by American University’s Washington College of Law.
Armijo has served as a commentator on Court TV and contributed to legal discourse through her writings. She previously taught criminal law, criminal procedure, trial practice, ethics, and evidence at the University of New Mexico School of Law and trained police officer cadets at the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy.
