Richard Alpert

Richard Alpert is Adjunct Professor at Baylor Law School teaching Texas Criminal Practice, Criminal Law Bootcamp, and Search Warrant Capstone courses. As former prosecutor with 30 years' experience, he specializes in DWI and intoxication manslaughter litigation. His academic work advances forensic evidence standards and trial techniques.

Research focuses on evidentiary procedures in impaired driving cases, blood test analysis, and crime scene reconstruction. Alpert developed innovative frameworks for presenting scientific evidence in vehicular crime prosecutions.

Honors include the State Bar of Texas Prosecutor of the Year and MADD National Presidents Award. He authored authoritative legal texts including Texas DWI Investigation & Prosecution.

Alpert serves as faculty advisor for the Criminal Law Society and lectures nationally on forensic toxicology protocols and expert witness examination techniques.
