Csapi Vivien serves as Associate Professor and Institute Director at the Institute of Finance and Accounting within the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pécs. She concurrently holds leadership roles as Deputy Director of the Center for Applied Learning (CAL) and Working Group Leader for Performance Management at FATK.
Her academic foundation includes dual qualifications: an economics degree specializing in Corporate Finance and Accounting (2006) and a law degree in economics (2007), both from the University of Pécs. She completed her doctoral studies in Economics in 2013, focusing on real option analysis in electricity sector investments.
Research interests center on investment theory with deep specialization in real options, extending to innovative capital structure frameworks (notably golden ratio applications), ESG performance metrics, and digital transformation in entrepreneurship education. Current work examines investment timing, financing source allocation, and portfolio-based real option evaluation.
She teaches comprehensive finance curricula across undergraduate and master's programs including Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial Mathematics, Capital Budgeting, Bond and Stock Markets, and Strategic Investments with Real Options.
Recent publications demonstrate interdisciplinary impact, connecting mathematical finance principles with sustainability metrics and educational technology, particularly through golden ratio-based capital structure models and digital entrepreneurship capacity building.
Administrative responsibilities include leading the Institute of Finance and Accounting and contributing to CAL's applied learning initiatives through the Performance Management Working Group.
