Crystal Lewandowski

Crystal Lewandowski, OD, FAAO, FNAP is an Associate Professor of Clinical Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO). She serves as Director of Vision Services at North End Waterfront Health and holds dual fellowship designations: Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Fellow/Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Lewandowski graduated from NECO (OD degree) and earned a BS in Medicinal Chemistry from SUNY Buffalo.

Her clinical expertise spans ocular disease management, primary eye care, and interdisciplinary healthcare delivery. Research focuses on cultural humility in healthcare, disparities reduction, and optometric education innovation. Professional memberships include leadership roles in the American Optometric Association and Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.
