Nikita Aneja

Nikita Aneja, OD, FAAO, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Clinical Optometry in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Disease at the New England College of Optometry (NECO). She serves as Residency Director and Attending Optometrist at The Dimock Center, and is a preceptor in NECO’s Contact Lens Concentration Program. Her clinical and educational roles focus on training optometry students and advancing clinical practices in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Aneja holds a Doctor of Optometry (OD) from NECO and a BS in Chemistry and Sociology from Western University. Her expertise spans ocular disease management, advanced contact lenses, public health, primary eye care, dry eye treatment, and community health initiatives.

Professional honors include the 2021 World Council of Optometry OPAL Program, 2020 NECO Preceptor of the Year Award, and 2019 Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She actively contributes to optometric advocacy through memberships in the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), American Optometric Association (AOA), and Scleral Lens Education Society (SLS).
