Cristóbal López

Cristóbal López is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of History at The University of Texas at San Antonio's College of Liberal and Fine Arts. He holds a B.A. in History from Tarleton State University and an M.A. in History from UTSA. His research focuses on the preservation and interpretation of marginalized histories, particularly Mexican American experiences and US-Mexico borderlands.

López's work explores:

• Mission secularization processes in Spanish colonial Texas
• Mexican immigration narratives
