Cristina Scavone is an Associate Professor at Link Campus University in Rome. Her academic career spans multiple institutions, including the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" and Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.

Her research focuses on drug safety, adverse drug reactions, and population health studies, with significant contributions to the Vigifarmacovax study funded by AIFA. She also teaches in the European Master's Degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology program coordinated by the University of Bordeaux.
Scavone has been affiliated with the Pharmacovigilance Center of the Campania Region since 2013 and conducted international research at St. George's Hospital in London (2015-2017). She maintained a fixed-term research position at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" until November 2024.
